#48 VDS Panis wins the 4 Hours of Imola; Corvette made history at Imola with first ever class win in ELMS; TF Sport clinch two wins with #82 Corvette in LMGT3 and 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 Pro/Am winners #99 AO by TF Oreca in LMP2 Pro-Am; third win and pole in a row for #17 CLX Motorsport.
VDS Panis overall win
After being runner-up LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 15 days ago, VDS Panis got their revenge by winning the 4 Hours of Imola, third round of the EUROPEAN LE MANS Series (ELMS). Charles Milesi, Esteban Masson and Oliver Gray sharing #48 VDS Panis Oreca 07 Gibson triumphed in an eventful race marked by a 20 minutes red-flag due to a four-car crash at Tamburello in the first hour, a bit of rain and several cautions.

They crossed 8.856 seconds ahead of the #43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca shared by Tom Dillmann, Nick Yelloly and Jakub Smiechowski.

Note that both cars are under investigation at the time of writing. The #48 refuelling process at its final stop is being examined, while the #43 may face a post-race penalty for Dillmann turning around the Vector Sport ORECA just before the #43’s last stop.

Corvette first win in ELMS LMGT3
TF Sport’s #82 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R scored the Corvette first ELMS LMGT3 victory with Hiroshi Koizumi, Rui Andrade and Charlie Eastwood.

AO by TF wins LMP2 Pro-Am
Double win for TF Sport as the Le Mans class-winning #99 AO by TF ORECA driven by PJ Hyett, Louis Deletraz and Dane Cameron collected its first victory in the ELMS this season.

CLX Motorsport in pole of LMP3
#17 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 of Paul Lanchere, Adrien Closmenil and Theodor Jensen wins for the third time in a row thereby scoring the maximum of points as they also won pole three times in row. On top of it, they end the 4 Hours of Imola two laps ahead the second of class!
