Matteo Cairoli sets fastest lap of Imola test day

The 44 cars present at Imola for this weekend 4 Hours race had a 210 minutes test this morning and 150 minutes this afternoon. Five drivers were under the 1:50” mark with Matteo Cairoli setting the fastest lap of the day.

Matteo Cairoli fastest

Matteo Cairoli with the Iron Lynx Proton #9 Oreca 07 did set a 1:49.559 during the afternoon test. The car has been a frontrunner so far in Spain and France, although reliability woes jeopardized its results on both occasions. With a consistent run achieved at Le Mans, the team’s full-season ELMS crew featuring Jonas Ried, Maceo Capietto and Matteo Cairoliis is determined to turn the promise into a good result at Imola.
