6 additional LMP2 drivers under 1:32 mark after FP2

Daniel Juncadella set a new benchmark time under the 1:32” mark as did 5 other drivers during ELMS FP2 at Imola in addition to Ben Hanley who was alone under that mark during FP1.

Juncadella puts Genesis-backed Orca on top of combined timesheets

Daniel Juncadella who shares the current championship leading #18 Genesis-backed IDEC Sport ORECA 07 Gibson with Jamie Chadwick and Mathys Jaubert did set a new benchmark time in LMP2 during ELMS Free Practice 2 with a 1:31.426.

6 other LMP2 under 1:32”

Pietro Fittipaldi was just 0.056 seconds from Juncadella’s time in #10 Vector Sport ORECA, with a 1:31.482. Job van Uitert got #28 sister IDEC in third with a 1:31.579 and Luca Ghiotto got #34 Inter Europol Oreca in P4 with a 1:31.612.

Maceo Capietto got his #9 Iron Lynx Oreca in P5 and Esteban Masson with the #48 VDS Panis Racing entry was sixth.

Ben Hanley also under 1:32” mark

Ben Hanley was able to improve his FP1 fastest lap with #22 United Autosports with a 1.31:861. He is the last driver under the 1:32” mark.
