Two Lamborghini Huracan squat front row of N24
The third qualifying session of the day delivered a Lamborghini Huracan front row for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring followed by Scherer Sport PHX’s Audi and Verstappen’s Mercedes-AMG.
Engstler and Mapelli first and second
Luca Engstler at the wheel of the #84 Red Bull Team Abt Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2 qualified first during early afternoon Top Qualifying 3’ session with a 8:11.123. Marco Mapelli in the sister #130 car drove a 8:11.468 which was the second performance of the session. Both drivers thereby locked out the front row of the grid for Saturday’s Nürburgring 24 Hours.

The old Audi third
Christopher Haase was third of the session on board of #16 Scherer Sport PHX Audi with a , but was then demoted as Haase improved to put the #16 Audi into third with an 8:11.984.

Verstappen’s Mercedes-AMG fourth
Max Verstappen qualified his #3 Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 drivers during the second Top Qualifying session. Daniel Juncadella took the wheel of #3 Verstappen Racing Mercedes for the Top Qualifying 3 session and reeled a 8:12.005 which puts the squad in fourth and second row for tomorrow’s 24 Hours go Nürburgring.

Rinaldi’s Ferrari fifth
Thomas Neubauer reeled the fifth fastest lap of the session with a 8:12.221 in the #45 Realize Kondo Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO.

Konrad’s Lamborghini sixth
Maximilian Paul drove a 8:12.256 to secure sixth in #7 Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2.
