Current IGTC leader Mercedes-AMG with 4 PRO teams
Mercedes-AMG goes to the Eifel region leading the championship with 33 points thanks to Maro Engel, Maxime Martin and Mickael Grenier taking victory at the Bathurst 12 Hour (first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge) with the Mercedes AMG Team GMR .
In 16 participations to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring since 2011, Mercedes-AMG count two victories: in 2013 with Schneider, Bleekemolen, Edwards, Thiim and in 2016 with Schneider, Engel, Christodoulou, Metzger.
Mercedes-AMG count on 4 SP9-PRO teams: two Mercedes-AMG Performance Teams, Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL and Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing, operated by Winward Racing, Pro Sport Racing and KCMG.

Mercedes-AMG Team Ravenol #80
In the other Winward/Team Ravenol Mercedes-AMG GT3, Maro Engel, Maxime Martin, Luca Stolz, and Fabian Schiller draw on considerable Nordschleife experience. Engel, in particular, remains a recognized specialist of the circuit and a former winner with Mercedes-AMG, making this car a very serious contender for the overall victory. Maxime Martin, for his part, will be looking to secure his first trophy at this race.
