#18 IDEC Sport wins 4 Hours of Silverstone

Over 110,000 people attended the three days penultimate round of the European Le Mans Series at Silverstone. The race was incident packed, with heavy rain that brought the race to an end 10-minutes early with #18 IDEC Sport Oreca third win of the season.

The #48 VDS Panis Racing Oreca-Gibson was not able to clinch a third win in a row, neither the championship win at Silvertone. It was the #18 IDEC Sport Oreca who won a dramatic Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone, Jamie Chadwick, Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella recording their third win of the season to put them back in contention for the 2025 ELMS title at the season finale in Portimão next month.

The #43 Inter Europol Competition ORECA led for an extended period during Nick Yelloly’s stint but lost a 20 seconds lead after staying too long on slicks. When the team called him into the pits for wets and a final driver change, Tom Dillmann emerged in second.

Dillmann was able to reduce the gap with Juncadella (#18 IDEC Sport) but unable to find a way through ending second for a fourth time in a row.

#20 Algarve Pro Racing in LMP2 Pro-Am

Kriton Lentoudis, Olli Caldwell and Alex Quinn won LMP2 Pro-Am with #20 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca for the second time in a row to extend their championship lead after a great battle in the difficult conditions with the #99 AO by TF and the #83 AF Corse Orecas.

Second win this season for #50 Richard Mille by AF Corse Ferrari

The LMGT3 winners were the #50 Richard Mille by AF Corse Ferrari crew of Custodio Toledo, Riccardo Agostini and Lilou Wadoux. The 4 Hours of Le Castellet winners battled through from tenth place on the LMGT3 grid, with Wadoux facing a determined challenge from the #86 GR Racing Ferrari of Riccardo Pera.

CLX Motorsport clinch LMP3 championships

The #17 CLX Motorsport Ligier-Toyota crew of Paul Lanchère, Adrien Closmenil and Theodor Jensen secured their fourth win of the season in the tricky conditions to claim the 2025 ELMS LMP3 Team and Driver titles with one race to go next month.
