Did BoP change leveled the performance for once?

18 drivers topped Laurens Vanthoor’s FP1 fastest lap during the second Free Practice session of the 6 Hours of São Paulo weekend by more than 1:650 seconds. Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, Aston Martin got both cars setting faster lap than Ferrari #50 as well as #7 Toyota. It looks like the BoP change, for once, leveled the performances so that 7 different cars, 4 manufacturers were within 0.515 seconds AND the fastest Ferrari was 0.640 seconds slower!

Porsche leads the way

After Laurens Vanthoor set the pace in FP1 with a 1:25.176, his co-driver, Kevin Estre, topped the times in the second Free Practice session of the 6 Hours of São Paulo weekend driving Porsche Penske Motorsport’s #6 Porsche 963 with a 1:23.508.

The sister #5 Porsche ended up second after Julian Andlauer reeled off a 1:23.612.
