Acura #60 and Aston Martin #23 out of race

Already two GTP out of race after 33 minutes racing: #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Valkyrie and #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06.

Both GTPs were full speed after pitting under yellow when Colin Braun in Acura #60 suddenly slowed down at the top of the Esses for the #44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, who was running at normal safety car speeds. Roman De Angelis in #23 Aston Martin Valkyrie was coming full speed not expecting such a move, broke hard and went into spin hitting badly the Acura in the back.

The #81 DragonSpeed Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Henrik Hedman was also involved and stopped on the side of the track.

Start of GTP-LMP2 and both GTD class

Fred Vesti led the pack in #31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac.
