Roda - AL-Khelaifi again, Masson - Provost in pole
Esteban Masson, Giorgio Roda, Romain Favre and Abdulla Ali AL-Khelaifi were the fastest of class in today qualifying sessions for tomorrow’s Four Hours of Le Castellet at Circuit Paul Ricard. Roda and Al-Khelaifi scored their second pole in a row this season.
Esteban Masson sets the Benchmark
Esteban Masson got his Barcelona winning #29 Forestier Racing by Panis scored pole with a 1:48.374 after posting the fastest lap of combined free practices with a 1:49.660 this morning. Gregoire Saucy, piloting the #22 United Autosports ORECA was second for 0.021 second.
Eight drivers were under the 1:49 mark within 0.586 second of Masson benchmark, promising a tight race tomorrow for the overall win.

LMP2 Pro Am
Second pole in a row for Gorgio Roda in the #30 Duqueine Team ORECA with a 1:50.735, 0.198 second faster than PJ Hyett in #99 AO by TF Oreca. Both will start from first row of LMP2 Pro Am class.

Roman Favre with #4 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325 - Toyota snatched pole in LMP3 from Pierre-Alexandre Provost with #85 R-Ace GP Duqueine D09 - Toyota in his very last lap for 0.106; Provost flew a pole lap of 1:58.784.

Back to back pole for Abdulla Ali AL-Khelaifi in the #62 Qatar Team by Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 who snatched the fastest lap of the session for 0.071 second in his very last lap to Blake Mc Donald in the #33 TF Sport Corvette Z06 LMGT3. It was the same scenario than at Barcelona.
