Jake Hughes fastest in season's first practice
The first ELMS practice of the season in sunny Barcelona saw 4 LMP2 drivers reeling the top fastest laps ahead of a LMP2 Pro Am. In LMGT3, 4 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo dominated the session.
Three LMP2
As during the Prologue, Jake Hughes with #25 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca was the fastest in the opening Free Practice session of the 2026 European Le Mans Series. Hughes reeled off a 1:29.720.

Paul-Loup Chatin driving #28 IDEC Sport Oreca was the only other driver to go below the 1:30-mark, after setting a 1:29.925.

Tom Dillmann driving the #43 Inter Europol Competition ORECA was third fastest with a 1:30.290, ahead of the #37 CLX Motorsport entry, with the best LMP2 Pro/Am runner, TDS Racing’s #14 ORECA, fifth overall.

Theodor Jensen in the #37 CLX Motorsport entry was fourth overall with a 1:30.327

LMP2 Pro Am
Sami Meguetounif in #14 TDS Racing Oreca 07 - Gibson was fifth overall and first in LMP2 Pro Am with a 1:30.517

Four Ferrari ahead of the pack in LMGT3
Four Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo are locking out the top four positions of LMGT3 category. Daniel Serra was fastest in the #57 Kessel Racing Ferrari with a 1:41.577.

Bronze test
The 30’ afternoon session was exclusively for Bronze drivers. Gorgio Roda was the fastest with his net #30 Duqueine Oreca almost 1 second (0.962) faster than PJ Hyett in #99 AO by TF Oreca.
