Bronze rated drivers to qualify for LMGT3 grid

Bronze rated drivers will qualify for LMGT3 grid tomorrow for the last round the European Le Mans Series at Portimao.

The Bronze driver connective test this afternoon was a strong indicator of the potential LMGT3 grid after qualifying tomorrow afternoon. We focus on the top four contenders still mathematically capable of taking the title Saturday.

Hiroshi Koizumi second fastest

Hiroshi Koizumi on board of the #82 TF Sport Corvette Z06 GT3 R was second fastest, 0.338 seconds slower than Martin. Koizumi / Andrade / Eastwood are 14 points behind the leaders. They need to score a podium and hope the #50 Ferrari does not perform well to clinch the crown.

ClΓ©ment Mateu was third fastest bronze driver in the #59 Aston Martin Vantage. With Erwan Bastard and Valentin Hasse-Clot, they are 12 points behind the #50 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari. They need a podium and the leading Ferrari not performing better than a P9 in case they end third.
