2026 Porsche Penske Motorsport IMSA GTP Lineup

Porsche Penske Motorsport, double IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar champion, has revamped its IMSA GTP roster by adding more FIA ​​WEC drivers.

For the second consecutive year, Porsche Penske Motorsport has won the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship titles manufacturers in the GTP category, with the #6 Porsche 963 winning the drivers crown (last year was #7).

Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet teaming up in the #6 Porsche 963 won the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship drivers title in the GTP category for the 2025 season. In 2022, the duo helped Pfaff Motorsports win the driver, team and manufacturer championships in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) class.

The Porsche Penske Motorsport #7 963 team, winner of the Rolex 24-Hour race in Daytona and the 2025 12 Hours of Sebring with drivers Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy, won the 2025 Michelin Endurance Cup, which is awarded to the top-performing drivers in the five-race competition encompassing marquee endurance races on the IMSA schedule.

#6 Porsche 963 revised lineup for 2026

2024 WEC drivers champions Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor are named as full-season drivers for #6 Porsche 963; reigning GTP Champion Matt Campbell will join them for the Endurance Cup events.

At Petit Le Mans, #6 Porsche 963 (top) lineup saw Andlauer replacing Vanthoor while Vanthoor was third driver in #7 Porsche. Due to sever back pain for Andlauer, Vanthoor also drive the #6 Porsche 963. 3 weeks earlier, KΓ©vin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell won Lone Star Le Mans with #6 Porsche 963.

Comparing to the 2025 lineup, KΓ©vin Estre (Daytona and Sebring third driver) replaces Mathieu Jaminet (transfer to Genesis LMDh for FIA WEC) as full time driver and Laurens Vanthoor (previously Endurance Cup driver with #7) becomes full season driver while Matt Campbell becomes the Endurance Cup driver.

#7 Porsche 963 revised lineup for 2026

2024 IMSA champion Felipe Nasr will keep driving #7 Porsche 963 with WEC #5 driver Julien Andlauer for the full IMSA season; WEC #5 driver at Bahrain, Laurin Heinrich will participate to the Endurance Cup events..

Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy, won the 2025 Michelin Endurance Cup driving the #7 Porsche 963 with Laurens Vanthoor at Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans. Nick Tandy has been moved aside replaced by FIA WEC #5 Porsche driver Julien Andlauer. Laurin Heinrich will replace Vanthoor (now in #6 car) for Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta races.
