From Le Mans to The Glen for 18 GTP drivers
After racing at Le Mans the last two weekends, 18 of the 22 full-season IMSA GTP drivers and a few teams have crossed the Atlantic Monday to head towards Watkings Glen for the 6 Hours race, third round of the Michelin Endurance Cup and sixth round (out of 9) of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Three IMSA GTP teams at Le Mans

Porsche Penske Motorsportβs quartet were split among three Porsche 963 with of Nick Tandy and Felipe Nasr co driving the #4 Porsche 963) ending 8th overall. Mathieu Jaminet at the wheel of #5 ended fifth overall while Matt Campbell in the #6 was close to victory, battling with the Ferraris, ending second which is almost a victory considering the difference in pace between the two cars.
The pair of Cadillac V-Series.R cars fielded by Cadillac Whelen (Action Express Racing) and Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing were awarded an invitation by the selection committee.
The #101 Cadillac WTR was driven by the two Taylors and Albuquerque while the Whelen entry had a relatively young lineup of Jack Aitken, Frederik Vesti and Felipe Drugovich for the teamβs third straight trip to Le Mans.
None of those two Cadillac did reach checkered flag.

Aston Martin THOR Team driver Ross Gunn was sharing the all-British #007 Aston Martin with Harry Tincknell and Tom Gamble ending 14th, while Roman De Angelis shared the #009 with Alex Riberas and Marco Sorenson ending 12th.

Boulle who secured an entry as he won the Trueman Award (LMP2 title in 2024), driving the #52 Inter Europol by PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA LMP2 07 (now racing with United Autosports USA in 2025 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races) ended 10th LMP2 class, with Inter Europolβs #34 ORECA LMP2 07 he shared with Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer and Luca Ghiotto.
