Acura, Porsche and Cadillac were among the top 4 of ROLEX 24 At Daytona’s session 1’s timesheets with a tiny gap of 0.146” between them with the two official Porsche 963 among them.

Acura fastest
Tom Blomqvist did set a best lap of 1:35.415 with #60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06 this morning during Rolex 24 at Daytona’s session 1. It was 0.988 seconds faster than Nasr’s fastest lap during ROAR Before the 24.

Porsche second and third
Porsche’s official 963 were second- and third-fastest. Kevin Estre was second aboard the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 0.105 seconds slower than the session’s benchmark. Felipe Nasr was only 0.014 second slower with sister #7.

Cadillac in top 4
Filipe Albuquerque was the fastest among the Cadillac drivers in the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R in fourth with a 1:35.561, only 0.146” slower than the benchmark.

BMW in top 5
Dries Vanthoor did set the fifth fastest lap of the session in the #24 BMW M Hybrid V8 while sister #25 did spend almost the whole session in the garage due to an electrical problem.
