Three Porsche 963 dominate ROAR Day 1
Three Porsche 963 are topping the leaderboard after Roar before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway both Friday’s sessions with Felipe Nasr setting a best lap of 1:36.327 in the #7 Penske Porsche, Nico Pino second with a quick lap of 1:36.331 in JDC-Miller MotorSports Porsche and Laurens Vanthoor, third-quickest in the #6 Penske Porsche with a 1:36.435. Both Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963s are updated versions while privateer JDC was running the 2025-spec. The three were set during session 1.

Sheldon van der Linde in #24 BMW M Team WRT Hybrid V8 was atop the timesheets in the second session with a 1:36.742, setting the fourth fastest lap of the day.

Charles Milesi in LMP2
Charles Milesi did set the pace in the LMP2 class in #11 TDS Racing Oreca 07 Gibson (1:38.395) during session 1 which was the fastest of the day ahead of Ben Hanley topping session 2 with a 1:39.136

Spencer Pumpelly topped the GT ranks in the #44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO, recording a 1:47.304. Corey Lewis was the fastest driver of session 2 in the GTD-entered #66 Gradient Racing Ford Mustang GT3 EVO with a 1:47.552.
