Albuquerque gets Cadillac in top 4 combined results

Felipe Albuquerque dominated session 4 during day 2 of ROAR Before the 24 bringing his #10 Cadillac in the top 4 of combined sessions results.

Filipe Albuquerque, with the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac V-Series.R reeled off a 1:36.731 in session 4. It is still 0.404 slower than Felipe Nasr’s benchmark 1:36.327 lap in the #7 Penske Porsche 963 from day 1 session 1.

The three Porsche 963 are still topping the leaderboard after Roar before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway Day 1 and 2 five sessions.

Laurens Vanthoor with #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport was on top of Saturday evening’s night session 5 with a 1:37.239 which is almost 1 second slower than Nasr’s benchmark.

Ben Hanley in LMP2

Ben Hanley, in the #2 United Autosports ORECA, posted the fastest lap of day 2 in LMP2 class with a 1:39.922. He was the only one under the 1:40 mark during the day, still 0.987 seconds slower than Charles Milesi’s benchmark in the LMP2 class with #11 TDS Racing Oreca 07 Gibson (1:38.935 during session 1).

Grosjean tops day 2 combined GTD classes

Romain Grosjean did set his fastest lap during session 3 in the #16 Myers Riley Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3 EVO. The French driver was the fastest among GT’s during day 2 both day sessions.

Nicky Catsburg driving the #4 Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R was second fastest of GT’s during day 2 with a 1:47.810 which did put him on top of the GTD Pro during session 4. It is still the 10th fastest lap of both days combined sessions GT’s.

Spencer Pumpelly is still topping the combined sessions GT ranks in the #44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO, with a 1:47.304.
