Rinicella gets IDEC’s #18 maiden ELMS Pole at Spa

Valerio Rinicella did gradually built momentum at Spa-Francorchamps. After placing his #18 IDEC Sport ORECA 07 – Gibson in P3 during both test sessions on Wednesday, setting the fastest lap in FP1 and the second fastest lap in FP2, Rinicella secured the first pole position for IDEC Sport this season. Roda with #30 Duqueine Team ORECA, McIntosh aboard the #59 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage AMR and Provost driving #85 R-Ace GP scored pole in their respective class.

McLaren leads Ferrari in LMGT3

Anthony McIntosh scored pole in LMGT3 aboard the #59 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage AMR with a 2:20.206, 0.620 seconds ahead of championship leader Blake McDonald with #33 TF Sport Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

Abdulla Ali Al-Khelaifi qualified third aboard the #62 Team Qatar by Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG GT3.

#85 R-Ace GP in pole for LMP3

Pierre Alexandre Provost driving #85 R-Ace GP with a 2:12.186, 0.287 seconds faster than #4 DKR Engineering. Both will start from front row the LMP3 class in tomorrow’s 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
