Rinicella alone under 2:03 in FP1 at Spa for ELMS
Rinicella alone under 2:03 mark during Free Practice 1 ahead of the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, fourth round of the European Le Mans Series. Three drivers within one tenth of a second in LMGT3.
IDEC Sport’s #18 fastest in FP1
Genesis Magma Racing driver Valerio Rinicella was fastest in Free Practice 1 with IDEC Sport #18 ORECA 07 – Gibson LMP2 setting the benchmark of the session with a 2:02.110. Rinicella was probably the only driver in qualifying mode this session as all LMP2 drivers (except Masson) were more than one second slower in their fastest lap of the session.
After three fourth-place finishes this season, Jamie Chadwick, Laurents Hörr and Valerio Rinicella are targeting their first podium of the season.

Esteban Masson was second in the #29 Forestier Racing by Panis ORECA, 0.932 seconds slower and the only LMP2 driver within one second from Rinicella’s benchmark.

Three drivers, three manufacturers with 0,1 second in LMGT3
in LMGT3, 0,096 seconds separate the top three drivers with Sergio Sette Camara placing the #63 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 at the top of the timesheets recording a 2:17.985.

Davide Rigon was 0.094 seconds slower with the #51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo, which in turn was only 0.002 seconds ahead of Parker Thompson in the #59 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3.
