Qualifying session in both LMP2 class were very tied with only 32 thousands of seconds between Esteban Masson and Ian Aguilera who’ll share front row in tomorrow’s 2026 4 Hours of Imola; Giorgio Roda was fastest in LMP2 Pro/Am by 0.007 second, Louis Iglesias qualifyed the #17 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 – Toyota in LMP3 pole position while Blake McDonald with TF Sport’s #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R scored his first pole position of the season in LMGT3.

Masson fastest overall in #29 Forestier Racing

Reigning champion Esteban Masson won a new pole with a 1:30.866 in #29 Forestier Racing by Panis Oreca-Gibson. The five top qualifying drivers were under the 1:31 mark, a significant improve with collective test and both free practices fastest lap when only Esteban Masson (1:31.580 during FP1), Grégoire Saucy (1:31.721 during collective tests) and Ian Aguilera (1:31.996 during FP2) were the only driver barely under the 1:32 mark.

Aguilera in #37 CLX Motorsport second

Ian Aguilera was 0.032 seconds short aboard the #37 CLX Motorsport ORECA in his first ELMS LMP2 qualifying session.

Saucy in #22 United Autosports third.

Championship leader #22 United Autosports ORECA of Gregoire Saucy was third with a 1:30.928.

Roda in #30 Duqueine fastest in LMP2 Pro Am

Twelfth pole in ELMS for Giorgio Roda in #30 Duqueine Team Oreca whole will start from pole the LMP2 Pro/Am. He’ll share tomorrow’s pole car with Richard Verschoor and Doriane Pin. His fastest lap was a 1:33.195, 0.007 second faster than Jean Glorieux in #3 DKR Engineering Oreca.

Iglesias with #17 CLX Motorsport in LMP3

For his first ELMS race in LMP3 Louis Iglesias qualifyed the #17 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 – Toyota in pole position with a 1:38.367, more than two tenth of a second faster than Pierre-Alexandre Provost in the #85 R-ace GP Duqueine D09 who’ll also start from LMP3 first row.

McDonald with TF Sport’s #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R

After a thrilling duel with Clément Mateu with the #59 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3, Blake McDonald with TF Sport’s #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R scored his first pole position of the season, after qualifying second at both Barcelona and Circuit Paul Ricard. McDonald secured his maiden ELMS pole with a 1:42.339, 0.102 second faster than Mateu.
