Qatar 1812 was a difficult race for both Toyota and Ferrari finishing respectively 6th and 7th at best. Alpine ends with successful 8th.

Kévin Estre, André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor crossed the finish line first at the wheel of the #6 Porsche 963. The Porsche 963 triumph is complete with #5 sister third and customer team Hertz Team Jota second.

At mid-race, both Vista AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 are P1 and P3 with Manthey PureRxcing Porsche 911 GT3 R second. Rossi, Martin and Al Harty are fourth progressing regularly in the LMGT3 ranking.

André Lotterer in #5 Porsche 963 is leading at mid-race ahead of #93 Peugeot 9X8 with Jean-Eric Vergne at the time. Two Porsche 963 are following. Cadillac #2 is fifth.

Matt Campbell took the first Porsche Penske Motorsport pole position in FIA WEC with the #5 Porsche 963, 0.413 sec. faster than Nick De Vries with Toyota GR010 Hybrid #7.

Alex Lynn with the #2 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R ran fastest during practice 3 which puts the Cadillac in P2 of combined practices. Aston Martin topped the LMGT3 class.
