Porsche 911 GT3 R from Manthey 1st Phorm wins the LMGT3 class
Team Manthey celebrated its second Le Mans victory in a row in the LMGT3 class. Porsche factory driver Richard Lietz, Ryan Hardwick and Riccardo Pera crossed the finish line first in the Porsche 911 GT3 R under the Manthey 1st Phorm name. For Lietz, who was competing at Le Mans for the 19th time, it was his sixth success with a Porsche in the GT category. With now 112 class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche remains the most successful manufacturer.
Manthey could realise the second Le Mans victory in a row with the 911 GT3 R thanks to perfect cooperation, proven routines and the unbridled belief in success.

Ryan Hardwick (Porsche 911 GT3 R #92): “Wow – I still can't believe our class win! This is definitely one of the best experiences of my entire life. My family, close friends and business partners were here with me. In this sport and at an event like this, you only ever win as a team. Manthey and Porsche gave us the best possible support. Only the best teams win at Le Mans. I am very proud to be a part of it.” Source: Porsche
Ferrari 296 second
The #21 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 of Vista AF Corse secured second place in the LMGT3 class after consistently remaining among the front-runners throughout the event.
Starting from the front row, thanks to his second place in qualifying, Ferrari’s official driver, Alessio Rovera, took the car to the chequered flag at the iconic French circuit. He shared driving duties with François Heriau and Simon Mann. Following a strong start by the Frenchman, who kept the car firmly in the lead group, both Mann and Rovera maintained the team’s position, securing not only a podium finish but also valuable points in the FIA World Endurance Championship standings.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R third
TF Sport’s #81 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Charlie Eastwood, Rui Andrade and Tom Van Rompuy finished on the LMGT3 podium Sunday in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the first podium finish in the world’s biggest sports car racing for the Corvette GT3 program.
The only step wrong for the #81 was a drive-through penalty in the seventh hour. Otherwise the race almost ran like clockwork for the lead TF Corvette, which moved into the lead just past the halfway point and was part of a back-and-forth fight for an LMGT3 podium finish.

RUI ANDRADE, #81 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: "We weren’t sure what to expect from the race with our pace. We knew it would be tough because we didn’t have the fastest package. But the team did an amazing job. The car was faultless all race long… so good. Every pitstop, every driver change, every tire change. The strategy was perfect. This was a big team effort and I’m really happy with this one.
“After the safety car about halfway, it was looking like we could fight for the top positions. At that point, there was still 12 hours to go. Anything can happen at Le Mans and usually does. The car was perfect which speaks volumes about the work behind the scenes that Corvette Racing and Pratt Miller are putting into the package. All three cars made it to the end. I’m really happy with this result. It’s really good!”

The #87 Akkodis ASP Team's Lexus RC F LMGT3 of Petru Umbrarescu, José María López and Clemens Schmid made its 24 hours race around P5 also ending fifth. After a contact with the #85 Iron Dames Porsche, the Lexus was handed a drive-through penalty, although it managed to remain in the top six.
