The official prologue saw 7 Mercedes-AMG GT3 among the top 10 of combined sessions with 5 in the top 5. 64 GT3 did run during 16 hours, spread across four sessions, 34 days ahead of the centenary edition of the Spa 24 Hours.

After dominating both Sprint Cup races at Misano Saturday, BMW M Team WRT dominated this morning session at Spa-Francorchamps, one month ahead of the centenary edition of the Spa 24 Hours.

BMW M Team WRT dominated the second season event in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup at Misano (ITA) and celebrated victory in both races.

Team WRT conquered a second double LMP2 title in the FIA World Endurance Championship and a double Gold class title in the GT World Challenge Europe with new partner BMW.

The Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo took victory at the 24 Hours of Spa with Alessandro Pier Guidi, Nicklas Nielsen and Côme Ledogar after a dramatic final.

What a race! #51 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 driven by Cöme Ledogar, Nicklas Nielsen and Alessandro Pier Guidi have been leading since the 11th hour. #32 Audi R8 LMS GT3 has always been very close… moste of time within 10” taking the lead thanks to a smarter strategy when have rain started 45’ from the end. Alessadro Pier Guidi took the lead back thanks to his maestria in the rain.

Raffaele Marciello with #88 Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP GT3 did snatch pole during Super Pole session being the only one to fly a lap under the 2’18”. That was 0.303” faster than Mirko Bortolotti.

This is the third straight pole position at the 24 Hours of Spa for Mercedes-AMG and the second consecutive for Marciello.

The BMW M4 did dominate the two test days sessions June 7 and 8 in Francorchamps in preparation of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa 2021.
