German manufacturers top Friday combined practices
The Intercontinental GT Challenge first day practices saw Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche with two GT3s each under the 2:04.30 mark of combined practices results during Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour first day four sessions. The four brands filled the top four.
Last year #32 winning BMW tops Friday practices
Charles Weerts with Team WRT's #32 BMW M4 GT3 EVP topped the Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour combined practice sessions with a 2:03.8685. Weerts was the only drive under de 2.04 mark during the opening practice.

An Audi second of combined practices
Will Brown aboard the #55 Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, nailed a 2:03.8992 putting Audi on top in Practice 3 of the 2026 Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour. Together with Weerts, they are the only drivers under the 2:04 mark of Friday’s combined practices at Mount Panorama.
Porsche #61 third
Laurin Heinrich driving #61 Earl Bamber Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) did set Porsche's fastest time with a 2:04.1499 which was the third of Friday’s combined practices.

Mercedes-AMG fourth and fifth
Cam Waters aboard the #222 Mercedes-AMG clocked a 2:04.1558, second fastest time of practice 1, fourth of combined practices.
The #888 GruppeM Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo was third quickest of practice 3 with a 2.04.1602 which is the fifth of combined practices.

#268 Audi sixth
Alex Peroni with the #268 Team BRM Audi was third of session 1 with a 2:04.1610. It was the sixth fastest lap of the day.
#46 BMW seventh
Raffaele Marciello in #46 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO was fourth of practice 3, seventh of combined sessions with a 2:04.2312.

#911 Porsche eighth
Matt Campbell was the last driver of the day under the 2:04.30 mark with a 2:04.2824 set during practice 1 with #911 Absolute Porsche.
