Estre tops qualifying 1 for race 1 ADAC qualifiers

Kevin Estre with #911 « Grello » Porsche 911 GT3 R will start from pole the first race of the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers in preparation for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.

Kevin Estre with #911 « Grello » Porsche 911 GT3 R will start from pole the first race after qualifying first with a 8:09.063, 1.067 second ahead of Drudi with #34 Aston Martin Vantage who would be disqualified after technical tests. As a result, Scherer Sport PHX #1 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II will start from first row as Haase qualified third with a 8:10.384.

Second row Race 1

Aron with #17 Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed was fourth with a 8:10.498 but his car was also disqualified after technical check. As a result, David Perel in #45 REALIZE KONDO RACING with Rinaldi Ferrari 296 GT3 will start from second row as he was fifth of qualifying with a 8:10.684. He is the last one under the 8:11” mark. Julien Andlauer got his #33 Falken Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R in P6 of qualifying with a 8:11.368 and will start from second row also.

Luca Ludwig: "It's 'business as usual.' I would have liked to go a little faster, but the conditions weren't allowing it. But we're on schedule, and besides, the heavy rain is coming soon. Then everything will be different."

David Perel: "A fantastic car. It's my first year here, and we've worked very hard. The GT3 cars here are extremely impressive. I've never enjoyed racing so much. The lap was very good, and we navigated the traffic very well."

Qualifying Race 1 SP9 Ranking

Both the Getspeed-AMG #17 Aron / Christodoulou / Grenier (Mercedes-AMG GT3) and the Walkenhorst Aston-Martin #34 Krognes / Pittard / Drudi (Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO) were disqualified after qualifying due to various violations of the technical regulations and must start the race from the back of the field.
