van der Linde gets BMW in top 6 combined after P3

Four manufacturers are represented in the top 6 GTP of combined session after practice 3 yesterday evening: two Porsche, two Cadillac, one Acura and one BMX are within that club.

Filipe Albuquerque was the fastest of the third and final practice session at Sebring yesterday night, with a 1:47.713 in the #10 WTR Cadillac. Albuquerque’s fastest lap on board of Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac V-Series.R #10 during practice 2 is still fifth of combined practice results with a 1:47.672.

With a 1:47.754 from Sheldon van der Linde, the #24 M Hybrid V8 slotted in second which gets the BMW Team WRT in the top 6 club of teams within the 1:48 mark.

Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 #7 was third of the session but it is still Feliper Nasr who drove the best lap of the day with a 1:47.043 and lead a group of now six drivers who set a fastest lap under the 1:48” mark.

Tom Blomqvist was second fastest of the day with a 1:47.302 driving the #60 Acura ARX-06 from Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/ Curb Agajanian.

Jack Aitken was the fastest of the Cadillacs was third of Thursday combined results with a 1:47.427 on board of Cadillac Whelen #31.

Kevin Estre in Porsche 963 #6 was fourth of the day with a 1:47.461.
