Porsche scored maximum points at 3 hours mark

At mid race, Porsche scored the maximum points at the 3 hours mark for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup with a 1-2 ahead of BMW #24 who had been a strong leader thanks to an early pit stop.

Acura didn’t last long in the lead

With a couple of FCY during the first hour, BMW M Team WRT pitted earlier than the Acuras with #25 BMW taking the lead at the one hour mark and sister #24 at the 2 hours mark

Both Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 in the lead

Julien Adenauer driving #7 Porsche was able to pass the then leading BMW #24 with a faster pit stop. Kévin Estre follows with sister #6.
