George Kurtz - #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œIt’s been a great two weeks, two weekends, I couldn't be more excited.”
β€œI thought it was a good stint, we gained a spot, and we just kept it in fourth place. We were close at the end when everybody pitted, so we did everything that we needed to do, to giving the car in great shape to Malthe and he did the rest with Louis. The team did a great job.”
β€œHopefully we get a good race tomorrow. We're not in the best starting position, but hopefully we make up some spots and, like anything else, with a little luck on your side, anything can happen.”
Malthe Jakobsen - #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œThe car was very well dialled in today. I think George showed as well it had very good potential and he managed to give it to me in fourth. From there, I just had to move forward. I had a bit of a battle with the United car number five. We made our way through.
β€œThen obviously that safety car hurt us massively when I was in the car before Louis jumped in. I think I handed over and 12th, or something like that; so very far back. He did an amazing job from there and brought it back to the front.”
Louis Deletraz - #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œInitially I was on bad tires against people on good and then it swapped around. So, when it swapped around, I had a big smile; it was nice to move forward. Overall, the whole Crowdstrike Racing by APR team did a great job today. We made the calls on strategy, and, in the end, we're here on top and some good points for the championship.” Source: Asian Le Mans Endurance Management Ltd

George Kurtz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œWe started a little bit behind where we wanted to, but we made progress, and obviously we just kept our head. The team had a fantastic car for us all weekend. I can't give enough credit to Crowdstrike by APR and Malthe and Louis were just exceptional, amazing passes, just great traffic management, great management of the race, and we couldn't be prouder getting a double win here.”
β€œLouis is a total weapon; the passes were insane. It just goes to show you the level of all the drivers, and in particular, Malthe and Louis. We’ve got a fantastic team with a great car, and we look forward to Abu Dhabi.”
Malthe Jakobsen – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œIt was very, very messy, a bit similar to what we had yesterday. It was great to carry over the car after George, thanks to him moving the car a little bit forward on the grid, but there was a few cars to overtake. I think the most difficult thing was managing the tyres. I had to carrying over George's tyres initially, but getting a new set, knowing that Louis would have to carry them over to make sure we had a new set of yires for the last stint. So it was difficult to manage the situation with how much you were able to push. But also looking in your mirror seeing the pressure coming from behind from Enzo Trulli, who drove very well as well. Then I handed over to car to Louis, and he had to finish the job.
Louis Deletraz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œIt was an awesome race. We were fast the whole weekend.  I took the car over from Malthe in great shape. I think here, you know, it's all about tyre management. George started it and moved forward. We're having less deg than the others. Then Malthe gave me great tyres. He moved to the front, I moved to the front, and in the end, we were in good shape. So just fighting like this with all the top drivers, it was really a lot of fun and to end up on top is great. The execution was perfect and we cannot do it without all the all the guys and girls of the team.” Source: Asian Le Mans Endurance Management Ltd

Louis Deletraz in the #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca-Gibson at Abu Dhabi crossed the line to secure a three in a row 25-points, ahead of teammate Sami Meguetounif in the #20 APR Oreca.
As the #47 Cetilar Racing Oreca didn’t score any points, George Kurtz, Malthe Jakobsen and Louis Deletraz had a decisive 25 points lead in both Drivers and teams Championships. One point in race 2 would be enough to be crowned 2025/26 ALMS champions and claim the coveted invitation to the 2026 24 Hours of LeMans.

George Kurtz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œIt's incredible. It's rare when this happens, so we have to take it for what it is. Crowdstrike APR gave us a great car, and we did what we needed to do. Everybody's got their role, and we all executed well to get the win today.  I couldn't be proud of the team, and I couldn't be prouder of my two teammates.
β€œI don't remember a time in Asia Le Mans where there wasn't a safety car, particularly here, so it was a huge surprise how clean the race was. So, you know, you had to be there on pace and we got it done. We’ve got a decent car, we'll make a few tweaks for tomorrow, and hopefully we'll reload and see what we can do. It's never over, till it's over and we just got to get it done.”
Malthe Jakobsen – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œI mean, it was not as easy as Dubai or even Sepang as well. This track is very, very difficult to overtake, even though you would think with the long straights that there should be lots of opportunities to race. But traffic is very key here under the hotel section, to find your way through safely without having contacts with other cars is very difficult, but we moved forward slowly. I handed over the car to Louis, and he still had to pass a couple of cars, but he drove very well today, and same for George, especially in qualifying, making progress, and qualified fourth for today and fifth for tomorrow. So, it is looking promising but as George said, it's never over until it’s over. So, we will keep our heads calm and finish it after tomorrow.”
Louis Deletraz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œEverything was fine for my stint. I got the car in a good position, then passed the High Class caught the back of the no25 and it was just a game of time as we were a bit quicker. They were a bit unlucky with the full course yellow and the fuel. But we're up there, we had the pace and had a great race. The mechanics were great, good pit stops and good strategy. I think it's when you win three in a row, it means everyone's doing a great job, and we need to finish it off tomorrow, but super happy.” Source: Asian Le Mans Endurance Management Ltd

Abu Dhabi Race 2

With an 8th place finish for the #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR crew of George Kurtz, Malthe Jakobsen and Louis Deletraz secured the ALMS title. It is the third in a row for Algarve Pro Racing and Malthe Jakobsen, the second for George Kurtz. With this first ALMS title, Louis Deletraz has now won every ACO LMP2 title there is to win.

George Kurtz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œWe got the job done that we came for, which is to win the championship and get the LeMans entry. Louis and Malthe just did a fantastic job. So much credit goes to the team Crowdstrike by APR, Stew and Sam and the rest of the crew, Jeff, our engineer, just unbelievable. Today didn't go our way, but at the end of the day, what we care about is the championship, and that's what we got. We're delighted to get the second win, it's just it really is a fantastic Championship. The caliber of the team and the talents up and down the field is unbelievable. We feel really fortunate to be in a position to win it again.”
Louis Deletraz – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: "To win this title is awesome. I try not to think about it, but over the last four years, we had so much success. To get into the ALMS in such a strong lineup, strong car and fight it out with 16 other cars. I think everyone, George, Malte and the whole team, did a fantastic job. Today's race was just tough. We ended up being P7, P6 we have been stuck in the dirty air, and in the end, today, we just had to drive. We had a comfortablelead, and it was not the day to take any risks. So that was the order at the end. If there was an opportunity, I would take it, but I think everyone saw it was the last race went a bit crazy. So, I just wanted to survive and bring it home and enjoy our evening altogether with a new trophy.”
Malthe Jakobsen – #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 07-Gibson: β€œTo win three titles in a row is obviously fantastic to be doing with the same team. Lucky to get it to do it twice now with George and giving Louis his last of four different championships.  I think it's just been a crazy start to the year, like if anybody told me before starting the Christmas holidays that we would end up winning Daytona and the Asian Le Mans championship here in January and February. I would obviously have hoped for it, but I think it would have been a very unrealistic target to set from the beginning, but somehow, we managed to do it. I'm very, very proud to be a part of it. A huge thanks to all of the team, APR, Stuart, Sam and, yeah, Jeff, David, everybody, all the mechanics, yeah, just fantastic.” Source: Asian Le Mans Endurance Management Ltd
