A Mercedes topped both sessions today with #88 Akkodis ASP Team during the morning free session and Mercedes-AMG Team AlManar #777 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO in the pre-qualification session.

Rowe Racing is leading the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Endurance Team’s cup as well as their drivers Philipp Eng, Nick Yelloly and Marco Wittman are leading the driver’s cup.

#23 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 squad dominated the race while sister #27 won GTD class scoring the double for Heart of Racing.

Ross Gunn was the fastest of the qualifying session at Lime Rock Park with #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in 50"593.

Corvette Racing is looking for a seventh Lime Rock triumph Saturday and take the lead of GTD PRO championship.

The LMGTE race was animated, mostly dominated by Proton Competition with two of the four prepared Porsche 911 RSR-19s finishing first and second.

With four leader changes in the last 22 laps, It is finally the #25 Algarve Pro Racing with Alexander Lynn, James Allen and K. Simpson that crossed checkered flag first as leading #28 IDEC Sport had to pit due to a puncture with 14 laps to go and Louis Deletraz with #34 Racing Team Turkey had to give up the lead four laps before the end as he was struggling for grip.

Jose Maria Lopez with 11 seconds to go before the end of the session clinched pole beating Chatin for 0.266 seconds in 1:44.253. The #47 trio Vladislav Lomko, Reshad De GERUS and Jose Maria Lopez will start from pole the 4 Hours of Le Castellet tomorrow at 11:30 am.

Cool Racing strikes the double in FP1 at Paul Ricard this morning with Lopez in #47 fastest in LMP2 and Jakobsen driving #37 in LMP2/AM. Nick Thiim was fastest in LMGTE with #44 Aston Martin.

Corvette Racing, Ben Keating, Nicki Catsburg and Nico Varrone are already World Endurance Champions with still 2 races to run before the end of the Championship. Porsche 911 RSR-19 trust the podium.

The fifth round of the World Endurance Championship saw 7 different leaders in Hypercars class due to alternate pitting strategies but it was Toyota#7 who dominated the race with 143 laps on the lead out of the 200 covered.

The start of the 6 Hours of Monza was chaotic with Ferrari #51 spinning after being hit by Toyota #8. Peugeot #93 was on the lead at the end of hour 1 but Toyota #7 took control again at mid-race.

Kamui Kobayashi with Toyota GR010 Hybrid #7 clinched the pole point with a lap time of 1:35.358, 0.017 seconds ahead of Antonio Fuoco with Ferrari 499P #50. Kubica in LMP2 and Bovy in LMGTE AM were the fastest in their class.

The fastest lap performed by Pier Guidi with Ferrari #51 (1: 37.533) during the morning session (FP1) was considerably improved by 10 drivers during the afternoon session (FP2). Kamui Kobayashi did set the benchmark in 1:36.363.

Before heading to Monza, Cadillac is third in the manufacturers’ championship, 56 points behind Toyota Gazoo Racing (38 behind Ferrari) with a lead of 16 points over Porsche.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing leads Ferrari by 18 points in the manufacturers’ title race. Both are eager to win at Monza.

Among the non PRO entries, #5 Optimum Motorsport Mc Laren (Gold) end among the top 10 overall and pole Porsche #20 from Huber Motorsport (Bronze) ends 13th overall.
